Oatmeal Cookies (With Chocolate Chips and Candy Corn)

I pretty much make the most delicious oatmeal cookies in the world. I don't mean to brag. I've been craving candy corn lately also and thought it would be a good idea to put them in the cookies... well, it wasn't. I wasn't smart enough to think that the candy corn would melt. Anyways, I'm going to give the oatmeal cookie recipe and you can pretty much add whatever you want to them (raisins- gross, craisins, chocolate chips).

What you will need:
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional, I never add it)
  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup of whatever else you want

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well
  4. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well
  5. Stir in oats (and raisins, chocolate chips, etc)
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes
Makes about 4 dozen!
