Annual Farm Party

Every year my aunt (mostly her) hosts a "farm party" at her family's farm. It's no longer a functioning farm, but the fields are rented out, but it still makes a great place for a reunion. I can't even tell you how long it's been going on, but it used to be one of the things I looked forward to every summer. There's a bounce house, raffles, four wheelers, and 4th of July style fireworks at the end of the night. Everyone usually brings something to share, so there is usually a ton of delicious food. Many people even bring tents to stay the night, but I don't think I've stayed there in at least 15 years.
There really isn't much to write about since it's just your typical reunion and the photos will tell a much better story than I can. I decided to bring my camera this time though because Russia really got me into documenting my experiences. My mom, cousins, and I did explore the farm a little more as something to do to pass the time. I liked how it looked old and abandoned, which is why I kind of went wild with the photos. I haven't really walked around the farm like that in years, so I forgot what a lot of it looked like. While we were exploring, my mom found the skeleton of some animal I'm guessing was a opossum. My mom gets really into looking at stuff like that. I kind of wanted to take the skull home but I didn't have any gloves to pick it up with. Side note: Have you ever seen the episode of Parks and Recreation with Fairway Frank? Opossums are so cute!
Do you have family reunions? Where do you celebrate them?
